Certificates of Good Standing for New Zealand company

As per information from New Zealand Companies Office, and with effect from 1 October 2010 the New Zealand Companies Office no longer provides Certificates of Good Standing.

Instead of Certificates of Good Standing, the Company Extract may be obtained for any New Zealand registered company with the following details:

  • New Zealand Company number and name
  • Current status of the company (i.e. registered, in receivership, in liquidation, struck off)
  • Registered address of the company
  • Summary of director’s and shareholding details

You may also need to have an  Apostille, which must to be affixed by New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs. You may use >easy and exceptionally convenient Apostille Certification Service, which will facilitate the process of certification of any New Zealand documents with New Zealand government departments on your behalf.
