Use-of-money interest rates in New Zealand on underpayments and overpayments of tax changed today, 8 May 2012. The current rates are: new underpayment rate – 8.40% (previous underpayment rate  - 8.89%) new overpayment rate – 1.75% (previous overpayment rate -  2.18%).
